    .dbc file editing troubles

Ok, so I looked at Reflex0zor's character to creature guide, did a few and thought to myself, could this work the other way? Like turning a wolf into a bloodelf.
I've been editing the .dbc files and have changed every field in line 73 (Direworg) to the values in the field of 15475 (Blood elf female), I have done this is CreatureModelData, CreatureDisplayInfo, and CreatureDisplayInfoExtra.dbc.
and when I load my patch into the WoW folder and start WoW, this is the outcome:

As you can see, it works but it's trying to display every model feature at once(Hairstyles and stuff) and it also doesn't have a texture, I've set the skin file for it to apply in CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc but it hasn't textured the model... wassup with that?
Please if anyone knows or even has an idea on where I'm going wrong or what I'm missing, please write back, any idea could be the correct one
I will +Rep anyone who can help me sort this out, it's about time my hunter had a decent pet... I mean, who doesn't want their own slave? :P
BTW, the picture was taken on a live server, if that makes any difference.

You can't easily swap a creature with a character model. Sorry. Search for a different one.
