    Model Edit crashing in water

    I was using a race change and when I jumped in the water, I got disconnected. Every time I signed on with the MPQ on it would DC me if I just get in water. The MPQ is updated to 3.2.2a and was working fine and dandy before I got in the water.

    EDIT: Oh crap forgot to tag.

    Known bug. This can also happen without model edits but with buffs.

    Is there a fix for something? I know WoWMe isn't needed anymore and I was wondering about it.

    Yep. Edit via DBC rather than renaming files. I'd do it for you if i wasn't on my laptop. For now, read the following and apply the information you gain from that to race models

    • Character -> <- Creature Swapping (Display ID Changing, DBC Editing):

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-creature.html
    {Thsi blatantly awesome guide focuses on variable-editing within Database Caches (.DBC), and goes into superb detail whilst including all the necesities for newbs to follow. 100% Awesome, 60% Noob-Friendly.}

    Once editing display-id variables you'll need to edit the textures. The following guides also cover that:

    • Race Swapping:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-features.html
    {The above guide focuses on the basic skills and knowledge that is required in order to perform a race-swap. It also vaguely covers geoset-explanations. It uses MyWarcraftStudio, DBCUtil, DBC Editor, IrfanView and MPQ Master. 100% Noob-Friendly. -> Race Swaps can also be performed via Glitchey's MES, referanced above <-}

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...race-race.html
    {Very similar to the above - detailed explanations, usefull pictures, easy-to-understand for Primary Learners. 100% Noob-Friendly.}

    Good Luck.
