What should i use to edit M2.files

Hello there i have been looking on the forums for ways to edit m2 files but there are so many that I was wondering wich one would be the best.

Use MyWarcraftstuido for doing model editing. ReAd lex's model editing tut for a good place to start

I said to edit M2 files lol not extract it MWCS dont edit i need something that i can mod M2 files so im sure id need a converter but im not sure a convertewr to what and il need a certain prigram to edit it im sure.
