EDIT : Sadly I don't think I can get two m2 like this on one, it seems the dark one is better

put it into your data folder but if someone can find the ****ing red that appears on whirlwind_state_base.m2 we could remove it so it will more look like the old wf but still the animation is more speedy :/

I tested it and it looks pretty good but is it possible to edit the red to like black / gray?
Its not exactly like old wf but atleasts its alot better than the new wf

If someone could give a hand that would be easier, here how it goes
I rename the whirlwind_state_base.m2 and his skin to cyclone_state.m2 and the little things that turn around the player by whirlwind, called WhirlwindGeoWhite.m2, were change to WhirlwindGeo1 ( that looks like cyclonegeo and whirlwindgeo2 but this one is the darkest ).
All m2 spells use blp that could be the same, because the blp that is used don't need a specific name...
And I should find which blp with the marvelous m2modder.exe, but is that possible that a spell got another basic color just by dbc ? or something else but blp ?

Well that's not so "Model editing" the problem could came from the dbc u know :c
As you can see in the MPQ files there's cyclonegeo and whirlwindgeo these two things are actually some 3D plane with a cyclone texture, they are bend like this so you could see some cyclone effect when it rotates around someone.
Cyclonegeo1, 2 and 3 are suppose to be used together so you can have nice gray effects by using multiple layers, but see ? I don't know how to use multiple m2 right now, I know some dbc where you can tell what blp and what model you want to be use for each id but for spell.dbc I didn't see something like that, I think I'll just wait for someone that know how it works :c
I have an idea, I'll try to create a new blp ( tomorrow ) for the whirlwind_state_base.m2 so it would get lighter ( but never try this before )

Sorry for keep you waiting, I just tried to change the particle colors that appears in the whirlwind_state_base.m2 the result is that the cyclone that appears near your feet becomes gray ( as the real cyclone you know ) and the other part of the spell stay red ... Now i'll try something else but I don't understand everything : /
There something's missing xD ... And I don't know why or what
