What happened to all of the .blp's?

I haven't model edited or re-skinned anything since BC and I've noticed all of the .MPQ files don't have .BLPs in the archives anywhere. (Using MWCS) It's either I didn't catch what they did to the MPQs in WotLK or I'm just lost in space.

I wanted to get back into reskinning and was wondering if anyone can redirect me to a recent guide, because I have no idea how to work with .M2s. I tried searching but couldn't find a recent one.

Another question.. Will the BLP converter be useless now?

That being said, I'm probably going to get flamed for not looking hard enough.

What happened to all of the .blp's?

Then you must be missing something. There are BLPs in the MPQs. Try a different one. common-2 for example. BLPs haven't changed a bit. All converters still work.

Hmm, that's weird. I just opened the Common-2.mpq and still no BLP's in any expandable folder I click.

    Here is what I'm getting

I downloaded the MCWS from one of the MMOwned stickies so I'm guessing it's the latest version if that even matters.

EDIT: I'm running Vista SP1 if this is relevant. And yes, I am running MCWS as an Administrator.

Did you set the filetype filter at the bottom of the window to 'All' or 'BLP'? Looks like it's set to 'M2' which results in you only seeing .M2 files.
    I don't do tutorials.

LOL. Wow, I'm so blind. Must have misclicked in that area somehow. Thanks haha.

EDIT: I set it to all and I'm just getting other extensions like .skins and .anim, etc.. Still no .blp's for some reason.
    EDIT2: Fixed.
