M2 Converter for 3.X?

I've been meaning to convert a 3ds file to an m2 for a pretty long time now,

Someone told me a few months back there isn't a way to convert a 3ds to a 3.X M2 that actually works.

But yesterday someone told me that there is now but he did not know where.

I've been looking around on mmowned and google but I cant seem to find it.

Can anyone confirm there is such a thing and if there is, I would love a download link or something.

convert 3ds to obj and then use glitchys 3.x model editing suite to convert it to m2


also to convert m2 to obj just use glitchys old mes

get artofillusion import your 3ds file via the 3ds plugin and then export it via my WoW-Plugin to a new m2.

well then you might use an old version which can only inject into existing m2s
try to use File-Upload.net - WoW-Translators.zip and don't check inject

now it converts but the model doesnt show ingame

Could you send me the link of the 3ds import plugin please? (Since I cant find it and I used .obj)

as Doodads the models don't work because of some problems with the min/maxdist floats :/
