Problem with model editor

Hey, long long ago when blizzard din't pack the files as they do now, i was an avid model editor (you just hyad to put a file in the character/creature folder and boom you were away...).
I am now trying to get back into model editing but i am having some problems.
My Wowmodeleditor0.9 (the newest version) experiences an error when i try to open any M2 files, and it closes. Also i do not seem to have a Model.mpq in my data folder, only common.mpq,patch-2.mpq, expansion.mpq and patch.mpq

what can i do to change this?
( I want my tauren male to be a fel orc)

All previous MPQ Files were merged into Common.mpq. and if your 'WoWModelEditor' program is actually MyWarcraftStudio then 0.10 is the latest and you will need to update

thx, all done,btw do you know where the boot files and hair files are, also where are the silly emote sounds?
My fel orc has no boots, and his silly, and cheer emotes still sound taurenish.
Also (a common problem i think) many other tauren (who do not have the same skin colour as my character) have tauren skins over their fel orc faces. As i am new to this, i dunno what to do!

got the same problem. Someone wrote that u should copy the fel orc skins since theres just 6 fel orc skins and 16 tauren skins or something.
Any1 that can confim this and tell me how to do it?
