Why do I awlwas get black character?

Hi there everyone, first of all I would like to apologize for beeing a leecher :S, and thank you all for all the good things I've got from mmowned.com.
I have a question about modelediting that perhaps wich is if anyone has a clue why everytime I try to play with a model edit (race to race not made by made and tested differentes so they should work) I don't see my char at login screen(only a black screen) and when i log ingame I still see my ''char'' all black and can't even move, I have the ME fix to 3.0.9, and i'm trying orc female-> to some other races, I used to use model edit fine back in 70, so maybe something changed? or is it a normal bug and can be fixed? Thank you in advance.

That happened to me, I'm pretty sure it's because the edits you're using are outdated. Try downloading a brand new(ish) edit, even if it's not for your race/gender combo, and just make a new character to see if it works.
