Useing downloaded MPQ's

Hello I have been a lurker for a while now, and I've downloaded some MPQ's. Well I honestly Have no idea how this works, can I just place them in data folders , run wow and watch it work? or do i need a program and if so which one? if anyone could help me i would be very thankful

Download wow mefix (World of Warcraft Model Edit Fix) and put it into your WoW directory. download the target patch and place / extract it into your Data folder. Start up WoWme, and enjoy.

(btw, when you say 'using', make sure you spell it correctly, such as 'using', not 'useing', things like tht bug me, thx)
