Vertical Placement and Model Offset Editing ?

Hi, I was just doing a really minor modification here.
I am reducing the size of my little tirisfall duskbat, as you can see in the attatched image-file.
Have a look at it, if you please.

Can anyone tell me how to make this thing fly at a decent height?
This looks really silly Because this thing is hovering a few centimeters above the ground and IMO it is not possible for a bat to be affraid of heights xD

I tried to move the offsets of the model, making it fly arround the eye's vertical position.
This was great, but when I killed it, the corpse was left floating in mid-air and that too, looked awefully stupid, haha.

    Pre-Thanks //TS

Nope. Unless you edit the animations.

    Aha..
'Nope. Unless' means 'Yes, there is a way'.
The question remains as long as there is a possible sollution somewhere.
So if I alter the offsets on the Z-axis, how can I edit one single frame of animation, meaning elevating the 'dead' position downwards? xD

One strange thing is that if I scale this bat up, it's NOT flying any higher than usual, which conflicts a little with the whole skeleton/animation theory.
With this in concideration, IF it was all an animation-issue, then by scaling it up would mean I had supersized the whole skeleton of the model too so.. technically the bat-model would have been lying underground while dead (or atleast parts of it)....but it did not.

That asside, you have posted videos on animation edits, I guess you are the Pro on model animation between the two of us, so how about if you'd share some knowledge with me, how is this done?

As I don't have a keyboard besides this OSD one, I am sorry to disappoint you.
