Ok with the probability of me being a noob im going to ask anyways

how to.

I Downloaded wowme and extracted it to my wow folder and i downloaded a dwarf to undead male.mpq and extracted it to my wow folder

my question is, now what?

and does it matter that im using vista?

-Your Shiny .MPQ file in you data folder
-WowME or whatever fix you're using in the same folder as WoW.exe
-Load game with the fix (wowme in your case)
-press f8
-log in

If you see no change after following those steps, your .MPQ is either outdated or bust in some other horrific fashion. Get a new one.

Pressing F8 isn't necessary at all... I don't understand why everyone keeps saying it -.- And, for the last time, do not use kynox's mefix... Use Cypher's.

Mhh, would be nice if you could say us the problem.
But anyways.. I give some examples:

1. Name you patch correct! (correct name would be patch-x.MPQ for example (MPQ MUST BE IN CAPS)
2. Where did you locate your .MPQ file? Put it in the \Data folder
3. Is your Race swap for 3.0.X (or whatever you use)?

Check these points, and say if it works or not

EDIT: The damn F8 doesn't matter. Just ignore it!
