You can create your own patch.mpq, then integrate it with WOWME.
In a general way, you can change anything you want with patch.
Just look where the original file is in one of the main MPQ files and then, you just have to immitate the tree structure in your patch.mpq file with only yours modified files in, in the same place (=directory).
This method works for a lot of things I think
