Injecting static meshes (shoulders/helms) made from scratch.

So Ive been lurking on this forum and a couple of others for a while looking for a way to do this, unsuccessfully.

I was just wondering if it was in the realm of the possible to make an .obj from scratch and use it to create a static .m2 compatible with WoW that could be swapped in with weapons or armor.

The outcome of this could be quite epic.

In the meantime, if anyone could tell me what program they are using as a model viewer since the models in 3.0.2 are now "3.x .m2s" it would benefit my quest greatly. The only model viewers Ive come across since 3.0.2 are way too unstable to work with.
