Question on Model Change

First off i want to praise the people who put work into making model changes possible. I'm a down right hard core High Elf lover and not being able to play one on the Alliance is extremely frustrating and I can only hope Blizzard makes them playable in a future expansion.

That being said i remember using the model changes pre BC a few months before its release and being VERY pleased with the work people put into making night elf - blood elf model changes. My questions being

1. Does model changes work at this time?

2. Is it possible to change the model of your character only? and not the race as a whole? Meaning when in game and i convert my Human to High Elf only my toon will display the changes?

1. Yes
2. No (Although you could change most of the NPCs that used baked textures by modifying their entries in the DBC's, which would make most retain their "normal" look.)

Thank you, Also i tried extracting my file to the data folder but for some reason the human skin is still human? did i do something wrong?

You need to pack it into an MPQ. Make sure you keep the folder structure.

MPQs are not supported by zipzag... I suggest going and reading through some of the guides in the "Guides and Programs" section.
