    [Question] Advanced Model changeing question.

I'm not sure if anyone has talked about this yet but for me the only desire to change my model for example a tauren male to a blood elf female is so I looked unique, but when you change the model you and everyone who plays a tauren now looks like a BE female. So I was thinking, is it possible to put in a code or something that would only change your model and leave everyone elses the same? Id imagine you would need to write up some code and make a duplicate model of each race for the game to read that path and what not. Well just thought I'd let some of your brains get to thinkin

I highly doubt this could be done. Model changes are just swapping one game model with another and your character has 1 race model and not a specific one, so therefore this could not work. I may be wrong though, just my 2 cents.

Perhaps you would like to change like.. the Noggenfogger skeleton to the Blood Elf you want, and just keep some noggen's on you all the time. Though I dont know how armor would work with that. Could just pick a BE NPC too

To do this, you would have to edit the memory-data of WOW with a third-party application. So, unless you know how to write such applications, I wouldn't recommend it. :P

Like someone mentioned, you can edit the noggnfogger skeleton etc into a bloodelf. Not sure about armor as he said tho...
Thing is, with a model edit you SHOULD be able. To make some other buff into the noggenfogger effect.
    However!
This is only theoretical, and noone has done it afaik (maybe cryect he was/is the greatest)

If you edit the model loaded from Skeleton Fiend in the Creaturecache.wdb, you'll be able to look like anything with Nogg, though that will result in not being able to wear armor.

To recreate the Nogg effect on other buffs is extremely hard, I'm not sure if it's possible at all. Gonna give it a shot, though, would been awesome.
