Model Swapping 3.0.2 bannable?

Hello,
so, today I tried to model swap for the first time, I've been reading some about this topic and I've seen most people claimed that it's not bannable. But I tried this in 3.0.2 and I get this window up "Intruder Alert" bla bla, this program may be against the term of use of World of Warcraft. So I googled it and there is a person who also did this and he claims he got a warning, then he tried it again. Which ended up with the results of him being banned for 3 days. Anyone know anything about this?

Try a new version. That detection has been in - idk - 2.2 or whatever. The new ones wont get you banned.

Anyways It's unsure if blizzard can right now detect current model edits however I highly doubt it. I use them everyday for baron farming ^^ They can be banable if you use edits like for PVP or gate removal/worl building in retail but usually they won't find you unless you're reported.

The reason you got that message is that you had the ME program running the same time wow was.

Just dont run the ME program while wow is running.

Why should you have a change to get banned, by changing models to a diffrent race?
