    I think you would need to convert the .M2 to 3ds

    Goodness, I have no intention of re-doing my character's animation from the model!

    I just want my character to play the "BattleRoar" animation instead of animating "SpellCastOmni"

    From the information I've gathered, models have specific animation names (duh) and the DBC determines what animations are used.

    I'm trying to figure out how to make the AoE spells like Arcane Explosion animate a motion in player models called "BattleRoar". Currently, character models play the animation "SpellCastOmni".

    In short, I want to make the AoE animations use the "BattleRoar" animation rather than the "SpellCastOmni".

    If you didn't understand that, I don't know how else to put it.

    Yea, well aware of what you said. Just pointing out a previous poster's flaw in suggesting using 3dsMax to change SpellCastOmni to BattleRoar lol
