    Character Restoration Question..

Hello, basically I'm wondering if there is any way to lie to a GM about gear (probably not) but arena points..

Basically my toon got deleted a week or so ago, and I'm in the process of restoring him, is there any way you could lie about Arena Pts or gear?

    Just wondering... Thanks in advance.

When you say what you got they check if you ever received it. Ive tried with a epic mount when i got my epic training. they said you never have received that item

Yeah my friend delete his rogue which had pure epics, and before he deleted him he deleted all his items cause he didn't want to play anymore and I was like FFS GIVE ME YOUR ACCOUNT!! So anyways he gave it to me and the list of real items that he had and this was my experience

I talked to about 5 GM's over the course of 2 days and got all but one of my items back. Broken down it was like this:

GM #1 - After submitting a ticket a GM whispered me and we talked and then she asked me what items that I needed restored. I thought about it for a second and figured I would say I had a T5 helm and a few epics that were better then what I had, and only gave her a partial item list. Her response was that she couldn't verify some of the items, but the ones she could would be mailed to me C.O.D since my friend actually vendored the items. (Which sucked because he sent all his gold to his friends) So I got the items that he had in the first place but not the tier gear that I didn't have.

GM #2 - Figured that I wasn't going to get anything other then what he had so I opened another ticket gave this GM a list of all the items I had, he said that he wasn't able to verify some of the items and I was like Wtf? And hes like sorry cant give them back if I can't verify you had them. So that GM failed at life basically.

GM #3 - Mmk so it was basically Bull that I couldn't get items back that I knew for sure I had so I opened another ticket and the GM that whispered me said that he needed to elevate my ticket so I was like k. So I sat there for 2 hours and got tired of waiting and logged.

    Next Day

GM #4 - Same as number 2 wouldn't give me gear back that I knew I had, although restored a few more pieces that #2 said I didn't have.

GM #5 - At this point I was pissed I was getting the run around, so I opened another ticket and the GM said my ticket needed to be elevated so he elevated it and I waited about 3 and a half hours for the new gm to respond to the elevated ticked. He was able to restore all of my gear except for Riftmaker.

I don't think there can really be anything done to you if you say you had something that you didn't. Just feign ignorance and say you thought you had it but were mistaken.

You are not able to trick a GM in this way..
In most cases you wont even get all of the gear you already had back.

Well it all depends on the level of GM you get and how long ago you deleted your gear. I remember GM #2 in my example above was like "You're items have been lost to the Keepers of Time" and I was like.. wtf... So it really depends as far as getting your items back. It seems that senior GM's can see items that were deleted longer ago then normal GMs can, but thats just my one time experience.
