my armor changes arent working! help!

I tried swapping the armor of the night elf females warrior starting armor with the black demon hunter runes, and the armor does look different when i look at it in wowmodelviewer, but in-game nothing changed at all! what do i need to do to make it work in-game?

I am having the same issue with my race->creature edits maybe all idk I only tried race->creature edits
