How to install model edits?

So I would like to install some the work I have seen here. Anyone that can link me to a guide of how to install will get + rep.

here are the 2 model edits I want to install now.

netherwing egg edit (uses a .MPQ file)

Blood Elf - High Elf swap (uses a .MPQ file)

Rename the .MPQs to patch-3.MPQ and patch-4.MPQ (or something else, just patch-X)
Put both .MPQs in your WoW data folder (*\World of Warcraft\Data\)
Get the MEFix (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...fix-kynox.html)
Extract all files to *\World Of Warcraft\
Run wowme.exe and one you're on the login screen hit F8, then log in.
