I'm almost done with a a perfect TaM to HuM conversion. However, the last thing I have to do is resize the m2's (character, helm, shoulders, weapons). Now, I know you can do this with glitchy's MES. But, I was wondering if you can do all this resizing by adjusting some DBC values.
It seems that you should be able to adjust character size with DBC's due to the following: When I do the basic race to race trick of renaming character m2 files(for example, when i rename humanmale.m2 to taurenmale.m2 and place it in my character\tauren\male directory), my tauren looks human but is still the size of a tauren. So, the size information for a race seems to be located somewhere else besides the m2 files. Perhaps the DBC files?
I tried messing around with the values in some dbc's (ChrRace.dbc and Chrvariation.dbc), but I wasn't able to get the size of my character in game to change. (When I adjusted Field4 value in Chrrace.dbc, it seems to adjust the size of the character at the login screen; however, the ingame size wasn't affected.)
So, anyone know if you can change the size of a character using DBCs? If so, what DBC(s) and what field value(s).
