[Need Help] New to model editing

Hello, I've only recently discovered that this was possible. I've spent a couple hours reading over threads on this forum and I can't seem to get anywhere. All i'm looking to do is race changes.

From what i've gotten so far I need to download the files for the races I want to change, and then i need to find fixes for the helms and feet? It seems I need some sort of fix for the game to recognize this, and a friend was saying saying something about needing a program called wowme?

I haven't been able to find anything about how or where to get one of these fixes or that program?

If someone could take some time to help me out i would be very grateful!

Also I was reading something about a program called glitchyme or something like that and from what the post was saying it seemed that it would make race changes pretty easy, however I didn't really understand it. Would this program be an easier method of accomplishing my goal? and if so where would i find it?

Ok I found this post which gave me everything I needed, the model edit I wanted worked perfectly. Hopefully this will help you too.

Okay, go in "Model editing Guides and Programs" and find Glitchy's MES, download it, open it, you see some kinda half cow half human press that. Do the race things and remember helm fix checked on. Now press convert and there you have your MPQ Now you just need model edit fix (wowme) which you can download from Bots, hacks and programs section (search for Model edit fix by kynox) and put it in your WoW folder now run WoW using wowme and it should work Hope that helped :>

Thanks for the help, I got that program and I got the model edit working, there's a few problems though.

I did two edits one was orc male > draenei female

The edit worked mostly...the problem is she has no horns and if i try to make a new one, some of the models still have facial hair =/ also some of the hair colors seem to be textured incorrectly or something, it just looks odd, i'm really not sure what the problem is.

The other one that i did was Blood elf female > draenei female

Again it basically worked, but they have no horns, and for this one it seems that most of the hair styles leave large holes in the models head, potentially because of the lack of horns i'm thinking? the other problem with this edit is that the models are considerably larger than they should be.

If anyone could offer some help for these issues, please do!

So I solved one problem, been working on my orc > draenei edit, I got the horns to show now.

A few problems that I still need assistance with :
1) The horns seem to have wierd textures, I have no clue how to fix this so far.
2) The hair has wierd textures/colors no the correct draenei hair textures/colors
3) I'd like to know if there is any way to edit out the facial hair on the characters

I figured out how to fix the hair problem, but still can't fix the other issues, the main thing that is bothering me, is the horn textures being messed up, would love to get some help on this....

Also after playing for a bit today, my character has turned all red for some reason, I tried relogging and that didn't fix anything. I have no idea how this happened or how to fix it. It appears normal on the character selection screen and in the character sheet and in the in game model viewer. It only appears red on the actualy model while in game, if anyone could hlep me please!
