bone editing tools?

I've been editing models since a week ago in 3d studio 9 and following a tutorial from this forum.

I've successfully edited a couple of models, but now i tried female tauren, and gave them an upward stance instead of hunched back, and it doesn't work well when animated cause of the bones. is there any tool to edit those?

I'm not good at 3dmodeling at all, but isn't it possible to edit the bones in
the program ur using, and then inject it? Or that won't work?
Problem is that Blizz has some "headbob" animations for the head...
That could be a bitch :P

as far as i can tell, the bones aren't in the model when i edit it in 3d studio.

There isn't a real editor thats public at least as far as I know for things like that. Could do it with M2Mod theoretically but it'd be similar to throwing bricks with your eyes closed and hoping they turn into a wall.

looked at the applications list and didn't see it, where do i get M2Mod?
