I'm not at home so I can't currently send you a link, but sunday night I can upload the cyrect's tools for you.

Yes, your final MPQ file will do into the "World of Warcraft\Data\" folder. BUT!!! make sure it's named "patch-#.MPQ" replace the # with a number you dont already have. Like, if you have patch-2 and patch-3 then name your new one patch-4

Hope that helps buddy. I'll add the link when I get home.

That's ok man. Open up Glitchy's MES (go download it if you dont have it) and go to search tools --> Model Finder. From there, put in the name of your weapon and hit find. Locate and click your weapon in the list and copy the model path. Now go back to your MPQ file and rename your model to whatever the model path was.

Example: If your model path is:
    "Item\ObjectComponents\weapon\Sword_2H_Claymore_A_01.M2"
then you will rename your new weapon from
    "my weapon.m2"
    to the path... which is
    "Item\ObjectComponents\weapon\Sword_2H_Claymore_A_01.M2"

Don't forget to save & close your archive. Now log into wow and see if it worked.

Just wanted to say, if you're using MEF, then it makes no difference what it's named. I've been running MEF with files such as "kara.mpq" and "tobacco_nuggets.mpq" for awhile.
