Banned While Model Edditing [How can I learn from my mistakes?]

One of my friends in RL showed me model edditing a month ago.
We just played around with it on one of my two accounts.
The next day we got a nasty email saying the account was hereby closed for good.
We started wow with Wowme but i was told it was an insanely low % chance to get caught.

My question is on my last account, I still want to model edit, but i want to prevent getting caught. Could someone enlighten me on how warden works with model edits?

If you used something like add water and floated around or campfire to Dark Portal type edits then there's a chance that somebody saw you and reported you.
If you were using armor swaps / area changes then I'm not sure..

well technically if you used area changes people can see you going through certain objects like trees that are now bushs etc. If you model edited a battle ground then of course your going to get caught and banned. Personally i hate people whom abuse model edits for personal gain. Anyway there is not really a way to get caught as it stands, like wolfy stated if you are using exploring aids you are probably going to get caught as well.

We had to delete before, because MEF had a hash and scan.dll could pick it up, now it's fixed tho.

oh yeah forgot to mention what wolfy said as well as the part where you have to delete them and make new files with the same name dll and dll.new have to have them as read only so they wont get auto deleted when you login. I believe there is a download in the forum "http://www.filedropper.com/emptyreadonlyscanfiles"
tahts the link to the empty scan files.

Kevinno, when scan.dll detected MEF it would let you past the login screen, so I doubt it's the problem.

Maybe it was just bad luck? I mean if its not the scan.dll and i did everything everyone else does, than warden just picked me off,

seems like it may be a "wrong place, wrong time" incident.
    anyone else?

Did you log in after the warden warning? If it gives you a big fat red warning with the siren going off and you still logged in, that was your mistake.

If you only swapped your mount and gear, AND were banned within minutes then you either just did something really wrong or what Parog said, if there's a big fat warning saying that you are detected and you still logged in then it was your own fault. Blizzard then just looks up who is using the ME Fix, whether or not it's for swaps, they just ban everyone who use the ME Fix at that time.

Really, it's very unlikely to be banned within minutes when only using swaps.
