MPQ's question

Ever since a while i havent been able to load my MPQ files even though i have the lastest fix.

Ppl say that when u look into the properties-> details of the mpq the name is spelled like this patch-4,MPQ.mpq

Ppl say the last part needs to be in caps aswell...the prob here is that i use models made by other ppl and im kinda a big noob in model editing...ive tried mywarcraft studio do edit de name, but no luck there.

If anyone could tell me how to do it would be nice : )

I have this same problem, I have one edit that has the capital mpq and 3 others without and the one with capital is the only one that works so if someone can help plz do.

Its for example "patch-2.mpq" no caps. and no quotes, and for it to work with the MEF, there is a text document (That should have came with the MEF), you have to add your patch name to the text document for it to even load the mpq.

in the latest mefixes you dont need to edit a textfile to get it to work, its nothing more than a doubleclick nowadays.

rename that file to patch-4.MPQ. and if the mpq is flawless, everything else will be as well (:
