Shrinking spells

Okay, I've been asking this question a couple of times now on the forum, but really didn't get an accurate answer.

How do you shrink your spell??? The most obvious or easiest way would seem Glitchy MES, but I don't know how to put the editted .m2 back in the common.MPQ, if that is the fact.

I can't complete my spell pack to contribute to the site, because it's not finished untill someone tell me how I do this.

If someone could please take me step by step on how to shrink my spell, I would be very thankful and can continue my spell pack to contribute later on!

First of all, DO NOT PUT THE FILE IN THE COMMON.MPQ!!! EDITING THE COMMON.MPQ == TROUBLE!!!

Second of all, shrink the .M2 file to the size you want, then pack it in an .MPQ Archive. Look at the guides for MyWarCraftStudio !!!

Ebon, good job. I hope you made your point clear about NOT putting any patches directly into common .MPQ.
