    WowME question

    I have a question regarding WoWME.exe.
Many people say that you have to start WoW with Wowme, but do you have to duble click WowMe.exe and than start WoW with Model Edit Fix?
And can someone give me all the steps to get the mods to work?
I know you gotta edit wowme.cfg with the name of the patch and that you gotta hit F8, but that's all I know.

So if someone can give me every single step and where to extract the files exactly(WoWme)
    Thanks in advance

Use either wowme.exe or MEF, don't use both. If you put either into your wow root folder, it should automatically start wow when you double click either the MEF or wowme.exe, don't use both.

Follow the direction if using wowme.exe or just get the MEF and double click it and hit launch. It should work.

    What does it say?

    It should

    A) Start
    B) Can not find wow.exe

Does the Modeleditfix.exe work for you?

That might be better than playing around with wowme.exe. It will say mismatched version if you have 2.4.0, but it should work.

The Modeleditfix.exe works fine for me, I just have to put the mount swaps.MPQ's into my datafolder and load it with the 2.4.0 ModelEditFix.EXE.
Race conversion does not work though

I've put the WoWme.exe, WoWme.dll and the forcelibrary.dll in my World of Warcraft folder.
And the pathc which I made with Glitchy's program in my data folder: patch-f.MPQ
I open WoWme.cfg and type: patch-f.MPQ and than save it(but in which folder? Main, Data??)

I downloaded a Vista Compatible WoWme and WoW starts but with this message:

    ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
    Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
    Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:00404E3D

Is there a working and reliable 2.4.1 WoWME out there? I've bene looking on Google, but no luck so far...

i am having this same problem.

I have Wowme, and I Edited the cfg file so it Reads:

    Patch-7.mpq
    # Example of a comment!~!~!~~
    # orctobloodelf.mpq
    # ^^^ Example of a legit entry (Without the # ofcourse)

And Patch-7.mpq is my Edited file that is located in my Data folder

then i go to launch the wowme.exe and nothing happens..

Make the p in patch uncapitalized. However, I doubt that will make a difference. The only thing I can think of is getting a new coppy of wowme.exe and making sure you extract EVERYTHING to program files/world of warcraft. Beyond that I would try the modeleditfix.exe if that doesn't work (don't use both together, but they can be in the same folder). Beyond that you will just have to use trial and error to figure out the problem, it should work unless something is strange about your system. Post back with any additional information.

It's working now, I extracted WoWme.exe and the two dll files in the main folder.
And the .cfg file in Data, together with my patch
I can use all my mount swaps, without any problem and it works with WoWme aswell.
But currently, you can only use race to race with WoWme because ModelEditFix 2.4.1 isn't out yet.

Can you use more than one race at the time? If yes, do you gotta create more WoWme.cfg files? Or do you gotta type the name of the patches in one WoWme.CFG file?

Thanks for the help and hopefully someone can help me

    wowme for 2.4.1 is out.
for your second question, i'm guessing you have to put all the patch names in one single wowme.cfg
