    Question about the WoW launcher

Hey I've been model editing for a long ass time and the other day I was trying to go on the PTR but it said WoWexe was corrupt. I took out all the Model editing files but it still says its corrupt. I tried starting WoW with the normal WoW launcher but it says its corrupt. Do I have to reinstall WoW?

If you have model edits in your DATA folder while you apply a patch, you will get that corruption error, the only things that should be in your DATA folder are Common.MPQ Patch.MPQ and Patch-2.MPQ

Provide the log of the error and exactly when it happens and i'll help you.

Bump still need help with this. It's something to do with the Startup Strings.dbc in the patch-2 folder.

Hes right. Did you take out all the files before even trying to patch. If you didn't, you probably messed up the patch. You will have to reinstall WoW.

Yes, but did you accidentally start the patch process without taking everything out. It sounds like you are having similar problems to those who forgot to take them out before starting the patch. If not, I have no idea what is wrong. You could always reinstall WoW.
