    Two questions:

-Are you sure you have the latest MEfix for 2.3.3?

    -Are the patches named "patch-X.MPQ"?

MEfix 2.3.3 doesn't work with 2.4. However, you are a donator. There is a new MEfix in the donator forums. If you already have this, could you give more details on the problem?

Here is a list of instructions:

The new version allows you to load any file you like. To do so enter the name in wowme.cfg (eg: orctonightelf.mpq). IT MUST INCLUDE .MPQ!!
You can comment the log file using a #.
The mpq file needs to be in Data/

    1) Run WoW with WoWME.exe
    2) Once you reach the login screen, hit F8 to restore changes & unload DLL
    3) Login
    4) Have fun

Did you remember to add the edit to your wowme.cfg. Also make sure WoWme.exe along with its .dll files are in the wow folder.

I tried it earlier and it works. Make sure you did everything on that list.

This is WoWme.exe. You have to add your patches into the wowme.cfg file. Read the .txt document that it came with if you don't believe me.

This wowme.exe is a different program than the MEF and is made by a different person. The MEF is not currently updated for patch 2.4.

    Are you asking a question.

If you need help opening it.
    Right click.
    Click open with...
    Select Program from a list
    Open with notepad
    Save changes

Just paste Patch-5.MPQ into your wowme.CFG folder.

Mine's not working either. Downloaded the newest one, stuck my files in /data, and added the stuff all the stuff into the cfg file. I put the cfg file in the data folder, and started it, but no models were changed. If I leave the cfg file in the base directory, the mefix wont even load wow.

I'm honestly at a complete loss as to what's going on.

Edit: redownloaded the fix, now F8 isn't unloading it, providing me with the game version error. I'm doing everything right, so I'm really confused as to what's wrong now.
Edit2: Apperently my WoW got currupted AGAIN somehow today. I don't think I'm reinstalling anymore. :P So I don't know what the hell happened to me.
Edit3: I figured out my problem. If you forget to take out your patches, like I did. YOU CAN NOT USE THEM AGAIN. YOU MUST MAKE ALL NEW ONES. THEY WILL BE CORRUPT, AND WILL NOT ALLOW THE MEFIX TO LOAD WOW.

Hopefully anyone else who had the same problem as I did reads this. There's the solution.

Put all the files in your wow root folder. Don't put them in your data folder except for the Patch-#.MPQ

I was trying to get it to work. I should have been a bit more clear.

The MEfix WILL NOT start wow if the cfg file in my base folder. Moving the CFG out of the folder, will allow it to load. I'm not quite sure what the problem is. I can start wow when it's not in the folder, obviously nothing's changed, but wow starts.

Haha, me either! It's slightly frustrating. Maybe I'll try downloading the fix one more time. I wonder if there's potentially a messed up file in one of the attachments or something. I dunno.
