Mount edit- whhhattt?

in a thread i was readinh, it was explained that to make the mount from a horse to something else (raptor etc) to appear as a cow .It goes through these three steps-

Change Your Mount
1. Extract Files from zip and create a new MPQ
2. Extract "MYCOW.BLP" directly to the mpq DONT PUT IT IN A FOLDER
3. Replace your Mount Model With "MYCOW.M2"

I'm new to model editing and I don't understand this much- I made a new MPQ, but I don't know how to extract the BLP directly to the MPQ, or how to replace the mount model- can anyone explain this in further detail?
