[RELEASE] Azshara Highlands
Hello OwnedCore Comunity!
The Edit I'm showing and releasing to you today is my modified Version of Azshara Crater, now a Questing Zone called Azshara Highlands!
The Area is designed as a leveling Zone and therefore completely playable - included are a World Map, Minimap, Sound, finished ADT Design with Quest Locations, Quest Hubs, etc.
The Zone is tested and working, giving you the option to include it as a Player Mall or Meeting Area, making a Scenario Zone, or simply give Players something new to check out and have fun playing with!
What has been done?
- The Terrain has been finished
- Model Placement (Blizzard and Custom ones) has been finished
- Set new Areas with Background Sound
- Added a new Loading Screen
- A World Map has been added
- A Minimap has been added
- Added Ground Effects
- Added Light & Skybox
- Area POI's have been added
- Graveyards fixed
- New Textures for Models and Terrain
- Water Patch included
- Kamlimdor's ADT's have been touched to add a Path to the Map

- Ruins of Ada'arath

Which Language does this Edit have?
The DBC Files used come from the WoW 3.3.5a enGB Client, and the Art (World Map) has everything in English as well.

Also, a little Information about the ENB Series used:
Please note that I use the GTA - San Andreas ENB to improve the Lightning and add things like Bloom Effects.
If you try this Map with ENB, please make sure that your PC can in fact handle all the extra stress put on your Processor and Graphics Card.
My GTX 560 TI managed ~ 55 to 60 FPS.
The enbseries.ini is also set up for this GPU.
Please watch out and be aware before trying this.
How to remove the ENB:
Delete the d3d9.dll, enpalette.bmp and ebseries.ini from your World of Warcraft Client directory.

How to Install:
Copy the Contents from the "Client Files" direcotry to the directory of your "WoW.exe" file.
The ENB Files are not required for the Patch to work, simply adding the patch-a.MPQ to the "Data" Folder works as well, of course.
Now copy the Contents of the "Server Files" directory to the "DBC" directory of your Game Server. You should be asked if you want to replace
existing Files, allow it to add the Patch Files to the Server.
You can now teleport to the Map.
The Entrance on Kalimdor has these Coordinates (X Y Z MapID):
3918.62 -4659.46 278.486 1
And the Entrance in Azshara Highlands has these (X Y Z MapID):
40.5547 356.885 306.01 37

All the ID's used in the DBC Files are listed in the ReadMe.txt File inside the downloaded Archive for easy information gathering.
For best Visuals, use the Commands - they'll increase your Ground Effect Doodads:
/console GroundEffectDensity 256
/console GroundEffectDist 140

Looks cool. I also noticed that you used trees combined from trunk and leaves as separate models? Why did not you make the entire tree. It is very easy.

Yes I started working on it again, and the Tree Leaves and Trunk are seperate Models because even though it might be easy, I didn't manage ... or even try to do so

If you want to learn how to make tree models with custom collison, I can explain you in skype or somewhere. It is very easy.

The purpose is the same reason why we draw for fun and why we do arts and crafts. It's just to do it for fun because we enjoy doing the activity. Nothing more and nothing less.
The same reason why I do car modeling, it's just fun and puts my mind at ease.

I've seen this thing, and I loved the idea.
Im pondering downloading a SPP pack based on 3.3.5a. How would I go about adding this area to my game, and how would I would I acess it in game?
