Beta phases are very important in any development. They allow for many users to test your software, report bugs and abuse it in ways you haven't considered possible. However, there is a different aspect in every beta testing, and that is appeal. You are presenting your product to the world - never mind that it's still beta, people will judge it. And that's exactly what might end Dragon's Prophet before it's even out. Let's take a look at what Runewaker made for us.

Cinematics are a big thing in any game. They give you some insight and reveal the lore behind all that questing. So imagine my surprise when I fired up the game and cinematic subtitles didn't match what characters spoke. It wasn't a typo or two, but the subtitles, that were "on" by default, were wrong. Come on. It's not a feature so it can be bugged during beta testing, it's a damn video. Hell of a first impression to make.

The game offers you 4 classes at the moment, one of which is sort of unique, and that's Oracle. Mid-close range magic damage-dealer with a scythe. Who could ask for more right? But, as hard as it may be to guess, the game isn't actually about characters. Or you even. It's about dragons! According to developers, there's over 300 dragons in the game, just waiting to be captured. Someone said Pokemon? Well.. yeah. Now, we've seen this before right? The concept of character that's not really any class, but has a summon to fight for them? Demonology ...

The Elder Scrolls series has been always very well know for its deep storyline and real time combat (same in third and first person gameplay) - things that many other MMO's are lacking. But apparently this is not going to be the case with ESO. Has Bethesda Softworks found a way to implement these features into their upcoming MMO game? Lets take a closer look on what kind of "MMO-improvements" we can expect.

As we've already mentioned in one of our previous articles, the combat system in The Elder Scrolls Online is going to look more like the one we know from previous Elder Scrolls games, than the one we're used to in most MMO's, but what does it mean exactly? Well it means they're introducing dynamic-type combat, based on player reflex, skillshots and using only few abilities at the same time, rather than being forced into a boring fight with tons of buttons and long casting time.

Another thing that makes ESO different from many other MMO's are character classes. In ESO you can pick one of 4 different classes and 3 skill trees. This doesn't sound much different than other MMO games, but unlike WoW, you can add new skill trees during the game, or pick up any weapon, any class of armor, and use it no matter what class you are. For example, you can play as a mage with a two handed sword, or a warrior in cloth armor. You'll look like a pretty little princess.

So what do you think, is ...

It's not a secret that Diablo III was one of the most anticipated games in history of Gaming, it's also not a secret that it was a huge let down for big majority of Diablo I / Diablo II fans. Since the release date Diablo III were lacking of mature storyline, PvP, D2-like potion system, and other things we all used to love in previous Diablo games.

Many players were disappointed because of the fact that Diablo III looked more like WoW than actual Diablo. Game was released without many important features like PvP system, or some actual end-game content - it was nothing like Diablo we all loved.
Playing Diablo III for first half year felt more like BETA testing to many of us, even playing it now feel like BETA testing at times, so the question is, if this is a BETA, then when we can expect it to be a final released? Well, Diablo 3 release is already being prepared. Release we're talking about is of course nothing else but Diablo III Release on Xbox one and PS4.

While PC gamers got nothing else but disappointment and over a year of testing we had to pay for, console players will get features like:

Infernal Helm - Diablo 3 heirloom wearable at lvl 1, with high stats + XP bonus (to make sure no one gets too tired by leveling)
Angelic Wings - Yes, pretty much the same thing you were getting for Diablo III collectors edition.
And even Crimson Angelic Wings, to make sure you won't get bored with only one ...

The day you all waited for is finally here. Trion opens doors of Telara for everyone, making the monthly fee optional. No worries though, if you purchased the game before and paid the fee, you'll receive Loyalty and take part in Veteran Rewards program. So your money didn't go to waste. One thing Trion wants you to understand is they won't embrace the "pay to win" model, rather, the best in the game will have to be earned. I'm guessing this is very important to them, as it's written all over the place. You may still choose to subscribe, and doing so will grant you some pretty interesting and unique rewards. Here's a few of them:

    +15% more currency
    +10% mount speed (THANK YOU)
    priority in queue
    daily experience boost
daily PVP experience boost (THANK YOUUUUU)

They let you choose how long you want these bonuses for, so you can subscribe for 1,3,6 and 12 months or any combination of those. They also have so many currencies in the game, it's not even funny. You got your Store Credits, which are pretty self explanatory. You got your REX System, which allows you to purchase items from the Store, however, REX can be bought within the game for regular currency you can farm. Unlike the Guild Wars 2 gem system, REX price is determined by other players. Now doing any of these, purchasing store credits, subscribing or using REX system, will earn you Loyalty, which will unlock rewards and enable you to fetch some Loyalty ...
