Oh hai.
I spent some work on this thing today. I'm still learning 3dsmax and I'm not even close to Bloom's or Goshujin's skills.
Basically, It's an idea for a staff / axe I got the other day, scribbled it down on paper and well yeah.
I'm bad at photoshop, so I need to get the epic photoshop skills to make good textures, I still try to make textures to improve my skills but yeah.
About it: The blade is supposed to have some kind of poisonish effect, Theres a tube leading from some kind of poison gland, injecting the blade with this. Other than that, its just a normal low-poly handle.
The blade itself is low/med poly - the tube is high though and the gland is lowpoly with a turbosmooth - making it med poly.
P.S I would appreciate feedback on what I can improve on it, and for future stuff :P
- to the pics! (Excuse me if they become large or something.)

Updated:
Worked a bit on it today.
Re-did the tubing (Only 6-cornered now, the first was 18-cornered), larger and not as long. Lengthened the handle and moved it up aswell as making the edges of it a bit wider than the center of it, textured everything - But I'm not happy about the texture of the handle, will re-do it later on.
Render:
PolyCount (760 if you can't see it, the other with long tube had around 2500ish, kind of an improvement :P):
