you didn't do actually much tbh... is not that big of an edit anyway as a practice test isn't bad, revise textures too
You like my work? you love my edits? you love RPing?
Come to my RP server then, is still in closed alpha, but azeroth needs YOU.
NO! i won't give my edits to anyone for any other server!!! and my patches (from 1.5) will be encrypted and will require my server, otherwise the game will crash. cya leechers
Uhm. Now I know that the tag to this section says "world builds etc belongs here" - But this is the advanced section. This isn't advanced, i'm sorry it's a no-go for me, I like seeing effort.
Press "U" then hold down "Ctrl" while Right-Clicking on the map. Then it turns white.
When it's white, you then find a dirt texture and put it on the white squares, and you can start painting grass etc on top of that.
This is needed because you can only use 4 Different textures per chunk file, A chunkfile is a part of the ADT file. (I.e there is Dirt, dark grass, light grass, rock) or osmething like that, that's 4 textures and then you can't paint anymore!
Yeah Im gonna have to agree with the others and say, this isn't really an advanced build. Actually you didn't do anything else except adding a few WMOs and maybe copy a few M2's here and there. Nothing "advanced". And Amanda, usually when people do texture swaps, they do it in Taliis. Just swapping the texture paths, save, reload, and vuala.
@OnTopic: Like I said, isn't much of an advanced build, however, I'd suggest you probably revamped the entire area, like changing the M2's and WMO's into another theme like Nightelf - Undead. Or Dwarf - Tauren. Or Gnome - Trolls. Well, if you know the wow lore, you'd know these are each others rival, so it'd be kinda fun to see it doneHow it'd look at stuff x) However, rightnow, Im not impressed :<
Thanks
