Qiraji Cleaver

This is the second custom model i have made.

I called it the 'Qiraji Cleaver' because it reminds me of the qiraji insect people from Sithilus.

There is a small problem where the texture on the tip of the guard has messed up but it's barely noticable

The texture was a massive problem when making this weapon. It refused to work properly and i must have spent at least 3 hours unwrapping the sword over and over again. I finally got it to work though :lmao:

Also i wasn't sure about the scale of the sword. Everyone said my last one was too big so i've tried to make this one smaller, i'm not sure if i've made this one a bit too small though.

By default the 'Qiraji Cleaver' replaces the default blood elf paladin sword, however you can change what weapon it replaces by editing the files in the MPQ using My Warcraft Studio.

It looks really nice except its REALLY thick and blunt.

Looks nice, glad to see u got the textures working :P
Only complaint i have is, I think the blade should be wider Not thicker but just wider.
maybe make the thickness a bit skinner as well. The length of the sword is a nice length leave it like that.

anyways, good job on this one. glad to see more people are getting into 3d modeling

Thanks for the feedback so far guys, ill probably make a version 2 once more people have given their opinions on it. I might go for making an animated weapon next time

I still don't know how i managed to get the textures to work =/ it just seems to be by random chance as to weather they work or not. This will take some experimenting with future models to reach a conclusion about the texturing :lmao:
