it doesn't seem to work. I downloaded the files with winrar and put the mpqs into my data folder. but nothing happens in game. is it maybe because it's outdated? cuz of the new patch? if so, would you fix it? the skins look badass man i want them for my pallie hahaha

Screens work for me in 2.4



Go into your Data folder and make sure every patch from this is followed by .MPQ
*****It MUST be in caps or it won't work*******

In 2.4 blizzard changed their file system to require the .mpq's the be capitalized, so change the file extention from lowercase to uppercase.


Correct example:

patch-a.MPQ


Notice the file extention is in capital letters. This will allow the edited .mpq's to work properly with the live patch.


Also, you'll need to use a MEF (model edit fix) of some kind. The two i suggest are Chazwazza's Modeleditfix or WoWMe.

well this sucks.... apparently i cant use MEF nemore because of the whole warden bullshit. i looked up chazwazza's like u said, couldnt figure out how to use it though lol. it kept saying the patch was incompatible, even though it was the same exact one.
it sucks cuz i really want my paladin to look like this lol...

1) Put the data file in your data folder

2) Put MEF in your wow root folder

3) Launch wow through MEF

awesome it worked lol im using Vista and apparently vista hides the extensions. thats why it wouldnt work. i mixed 2 patches that change the horse, this one and then some other patch that changes paladin spells into dark spells, also changes horse into the warlock one. well it came up with this LOL

Ya it took quite a while to figure out that vista bug the first time he mentioned it. I'm glad he wrote a guide on it, hopefully will help others.

That horse pictures is actually pretty cool, a bit sloppy in areas, but with some editing I think it might be sorta neat.

Also the second pic doesn't work, not sure if that was the same thing or not.
