All horde to blood elf 2.0.1

I put the file in my data folder, and i changed my tauren model to blood elf. Everythign works fine. But when i look at my self i still have tauren skin. Everyone else has the blood elf skin. I was wondering how i can make it so that i have the skin of a blood elf. Also i have the helm bug. I looked for my items folder but i can not seem to find it. Any Suggestions?

I discovered why some times the skin looks ok on some player models and not on others. When changing from a Tauren to a Blood Elf. There are 9 diffrent skin files for the Blood Elves, yet there are 18 for the taurens. So if you choose one of the ones say 10-18 that there isnt an equivalent for in the blood elf selection then u get defaluted to the taurens hairy skin. I was wondering if anyone knew how to correct this. Wiether just renaming one file agian and agian from 10-18. Ive tried to do the model swap my self and havent been able to get it to work. Whe ni do it they jsut show up as the same race they were before. If anyone could help me id apprecate it. I am a tauren (with white fur) trying to look like a normal blood elf. Everytime put it in data , and name it Patch-6.MPQ it dosnt work ive tried putting 1 - 9 there and it just comes up with a fatal error message.

I was looking at when some of these guys posted and it was a while back and i cant remember when the patch came out that stopped character changing(or what patch it even was) but does this way of character changing still work, if so, I'd like to know where to put the DL'd in to what folder and what to name it
