You take the BLP provided inside the Zip. Import that into your MPQ with no folder path. Then change the M2 to match the name of whatever mount you want.
BlueDragon.BLP
>Creature
>>FrostSabre
>>>FrostSabre.m2 (Renamed from BlueDragon.m2)

Click "Pack > Add File to Archive" browse for your file, when you find it click open but click OK on the little box yet. Type in a folder path before the file you just imported and it will create a patch within the MPQ.
ahh thanks for your help![]()
I'm a bit computer retarded, how do u make a new MPQ file?
awesome one =]
zomg it looks uber o.o
luv it +rep
damn thats awesome
I keep trying to do this but I'm doing something wrong and I can't figure it out, here's how it turns out everytime -- http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/2...7224709xl1.jpg
Does it ONLY work for flying mounts?
Where is the actual file located at in the files? I haven't been able to find it and if i could i could prolly fix the green error thats now being seen.

I saw a girl with "GUESS" on her shirt. I said "fake?". She slapped me......
someone who could tell me exactly to make this thing work in english? .. i mean really step by step... im to noobish to understand put that in to that and that into the mpq and treefolder or something .. sorry for that but i really wanna know how to do it :P
Since none else has bothered to reply i'll just say how i did it at least.
After downloading the .rar file, i extracted it all to a folder.
For me, i swapped Blue dragon with my engineer mount. In my patch.mpq, the engineer mount is called Gyrocopter_01.m2.
So i went into the folder i had extracted out of the .rar, in my case,
User/Downloads/Blue Dragon/Files
In Files, you will find 2 files. DragonBlue.blp and DragonBlue.m2.
Open MPQeditor, then load "patch.mpq".
Click on the "patch.mpq" in the upper left corner, then you will see a list on the right saying like:
Character
CREATURE
DUNGEONS
Environments
Item
etc, etc. Then click "Operations" -> "Add file(s)" then locate your "BlueDragon.blp" and click "ok" on the window that comes up. BlueDragon.blp should now be in the list on your right hand.
Now make your way to the mount you are replacing, delete the old file, and put in the new, renamed BlueDragon.m2 file. In my case i went into
CREATURE -> Gyrocopter -> Gyrocopter_01.m2.
Then i deleted Gyrocopter_01.m2. Then i clicked "Operations" -> "Add file(s)", located the BlueDragon.m2 file, renamed it to Gyrocopter_01.m2 and added it to the spot where the old Gyrocopter_01.m2 file had been... So in short, delete the old .m2 and put in a new and renamed one, and with the BlueDragon.blp, just add it to the root folder (patch.mpq)
Hope this helps, i started modelchanging today so i might say lotsa wrong stuff now, but i tried =/ GL!
Should just mention if trying Astralis method that its a VERY good idea to back up your old patch.mpq first.
holy shit thats nice
Awesome dude, +rep. But one question, when its flying it has the standing animation instead of flying, but when we walk it has the flying animation. Is it possible to change the flying animation to the walking one?
