Won't != can't. If you have a guild of fully geared people that can carry you through karazhan, you can have a full setup of gear waiting for you when you hit 70. The karazhan attunement is a nice chunk of experience.

Note that The Eye is the big one right in the middle (The one that the tube leads up too) by landing he means, the ground just to the left of The Eye.
