    Re: [Discussion] Long-term Azeroth rebuild

Well it dosn't work with live servers only because when you go inside that building, the NPC's will still be where they used to be :P

I've seen the tool and had it and didnt find it insanely easy to work with, just because Im more of a graphical user, thats why I like noggit... pretty straight foreward and I can see my changes realtime

But I realize it is something I need to use to really change an area, so Ill give it a look!

So npc locations aside, you can create an entire city on live servers?

Edit: and does it work with patches like other edits? That way you could build a guild headquarters, which seems quite cool

Project Kalimdip postponed indefinitely until I learn DBC editing, I'd like to change out building skins and such in my first complete zone revamp, but I would really like to get it perfect before I show anything.

You should probably have mastered every form of model editing before taking on such a project, but good luck, can't wait to see some results.

This had nothing to do with my model editing skills, rather the pointlessness of the project. I've moved on to a bigger, more drastic project of my own which is going to completely tear down the engines and create a new game.

In before repeating what I had said. The DBC editing was true at the time, and completely unneeded. The point of the project was to rebuilt the zones the way I saw them after reading the books and playing the Warcraft RTS games.
