[Model Edit Fix] Official Model Edit Fix Thread

I just deleted all my patches and the MEF in the wow folder but I still cant get in even with using the launcher.

yea im positive i have nothing left from model editing...i had two patch.mpq's and the MEL.exe...which are sitting on my desktop.

and yea chinggy i get the error if i take patch.mpq out...i think were just gona have 2 reinstall =(

wow i hope not i dont think i know where my TBC discs are : /

well u can download BC off the wow site...just need ur original wow cd.

Im repairing atm and it said that my files were damaged so might wanna do that before you reinstall


*edit* Yeah repairing worked for me, hope it works for you guys. You will just have to patch from 2.0.0 up GL

yea im doing it now...i made the mistake of not removing my interface folder...so there goes hours and hours of time spent on my UI...o well, hopefully it works.

thats strange, I did not remove mine and everything is still in it.

I'm having the same problem... Areatrigger.dbc

Removed my entire Interface/WTF and all model edits, ran repair utility...

When i try to log in with the new version - Its saying it cant reocgnize my version of WoW because of a corrupted file? Even if I do the end/home thing.

the model edit fix is for 2.2 only...just gonna have to wait for an update

Do we have to download a new fix every time a single patch comes out?

Just downloaded the new patch today, now when i try to launch my model edits, it says Invalid game version.

yes im having the same problem as dammien34
this is whats happening the program starts to open WoW but before the login screen comes up i get this error:

I'm pretty sure its the model edit fix, I'm using the latest one on this thread, so I guess we are going to have to wait for a fix like trumpdog said

o I'm pretty sure its the model edit fix because when i take all my model changing .mpq files out WoW runs fine (I do tauren-->male bloodelf with helm and boot fixes for t4 and t5)
