if the program recognises the end and home button, would't it recognise the passwords we are entering and therefore maybe some stolen account? :-s

Don't know if it has anything to do with Vista or not.. But few people in here have said that the char->creature edits do not work in outland. I myself crash every time I use my worgen edit, haven't tried it in azeroth yet though. So no idea if there is something to it.

Re: [Model Edit Fix] Official Model Edit Fix Thread

I think this was suggested a few pages' back; But I'll introduce it again.

If your having the game crash as soon as your character screen loads Follow these instruction.

    1) Rename the MPQ file to "AAAAA" (The one that is in the error)
    2) Log on WoW
    3) Log on an alt
    4) /Exit
    5) Rename the MPQ file back to the orginal name.
    6) Load WoW
    7) Press End, Press it more then once if needed.
    9) Once the alt is loaded on the character selection screen press "Home"
    10) Select Main
    11) Log in

This way it loads the unedited model first; Which allows you to apply the fix before it crashes on you.

That should fix the error that people are having; It took me a few mins of ****ing around with it to figure this out, Hope it helps.

It should also work the next time you log in without doing that.

Re: [Model Edit Fix] Official Model Edit Fix Thread

I'm assuming it won't be a problem, but if I bind keys to HOME and END will there be any issues I should look out for?

    Also bei mir gings so:
    1. Wow über die neue modeleditfix.exe starten
    2. Wenn wow geladen is (du also diese Login Maske hast) Ende drücken (die Taste is zwischen den normalen Tasten und dem Numblock)
    3. Pw eingeben und Enter drücken

Sorry for posting in german but...

    wäre echt super geil
