    Treat for Warlocks

<<<<<<<< NEW VERSION LINKED AT BOTTOM >>>>>>>>
So I decided to do some warlock modelchanges. I need every Warlock out there to offer his/her opinions though. I plan to change all of the voices/attack/summon noises for each model implented, however I dont wanna waste my time if the community thinks they're lame. So offer you opinion freely. The only thing I request is that if you put, hey that sucks.. at least say why or throw in a "You should check out this model *******" In there, so i can see what ya'll think.

Thanks in advanced. Obviously if i get the thumbs up the sounds will be updated in a few days, until then just check out the model/textures.

    Succubus - Banshee
    Imp -Mini Diablo
    Felhunter - Fired FelBeast
    Voidwalker - Green Fire Elemental

Ideas are Doomguard - Rag (Althought the model is huge and would bury the caster) And Infernal - Ancient of war

Alternate ideas: Doomguard to Dreadlord (in the UC, forget his name)
    Infernal - Ony/Nef/Azurgeous

Just give me a yay or nay for anything you wish

    TO THE FILE!

    http://rapidshare.de/files/32466454/speech2.MPQ.html

Edit: I didnt post picture cuz i want people to summon their pets and be like HOLY !@#$ thats awesome, or like meh w/e. Thats how ill know if its good, or needs to
    change.

Version 1.2 Goes is live. http://rapidshare.de/files/33375939/speech2.MPQ.html
    http://rapidshare.de/files/33375939/speech2.MPQ.html

Sorry it took so long, Rl called and just basically !@#$ed me for the past while. Anyways im back, did the work so updating the links.
Known Issues: Some mounts/Pets appear untextured (not yours, other players) or green.
Not all of the models I originally wanted to implement are there, so again its a work in progress.

Please please please post any other bugs you find. I havent had much time to play around with it. Was just trying to finish it up and get a release out for test.

    Notes for version 1.2:
    Infernal - Abomb looks working
Doomguard -Outlands Doomguard is implemented but NOT tested, Please post tests or screenies if you get a party to summon one.
Mount lvl 40 -Changes you into the creature rather than riding it, been working with the 3d model to change the mounting point (Aka fixing that)
Mount lvl 60- from my experience is working flawlessly, however rather not that great, working on finding a new model for that one.
Imp- Was changed to a TBC dragon whelp, but i messed up the skins so hes just green for now.

Again screenies are a big help so please post if you come across some issues. Thanks again,
    Something cool.

So as a side note, I was playing with this file in AV last night, It was awesome watching the tons of felbeasts leave mile long trials of fire, I didnt realize it was gonna be so immense, check it out if you can. Its pretty sweet.

    - Thanks for the comments, keep em coming=) I appreciate it.

    Re: Treat for Warlocks

See I am at my last warning so im banned if I do something bad.
I have a 60 warlock with fair amount of gold I can transfer it to another account but I dont want to get banned because leveling to 60 is hard.
So im wondering if I should use this, and if I should use the exploit to go under the honor towers if it is worth it.

    Re: Treat for Warlocks

Voidwalker, how about the mana things from DM?

not sure about doomguard... just not a model quite that big... maybe something like... the abominations from naxx or somethin?

Infernal... I have seen some awesome models from the burning crusade that may be great for infernal

    Re: Treat for Warlocks

O.o the abomination model is a great idea, I can't believe i didnt think about that.

Yea ive been looking throught the BC alpha stuff, but hadnt really found anything too spectacular, I guess ill have to check around some more.

And for the voidwalker idea, are you refering to the Mana fiends in DM, slightly bigger almost completely same model as the current void? or something else?

yes, I meant the mana fiends =)

but here are a few others to look at (from BC alpha)
Uploading pics/editing post as i go

you MUST use this model some how... replace onyxia with it... replace any dragon with it... just not a warlock pet...

i think dragons and such are too big for warlock pets... as we will most likley end up stopping using them if they are too big... and we are tryin to go to a raid or somethin...

    Doomguard -

Infernal - skin didnt work right... you get what he looks like basically...

    Succubus -

    Imp -

    Re: Treat for Warlocks

O.o fire wyrm, very nice. I origninally had used the frost wyrm from naxx to replace Azurgoes (sp) Maybe ill use this file to replace ony, the dbc edit should be easy enough. The doomguard is pretty sweet, I think that is a winner for the final release, ill get to work on that tonight.

I am pretty happy overall with the changes, after playing with them more sizes and things worked out well, accept for maybe the imp, he was a little blan. One thing i have to implent is a Dreadsteed change, Im not sure at this point what it will be though. And i have come to the conclusion that the Abomb is the winner for the infernal. Its just such a play on the Frozen throne undead, I had to do it.

I was considering changing the dreadsteed to a black drake ( little dragon) but meh im to sure. Let me know of some idea you may have. A

To Fishy80 thanks a ton for the feedback and pictures, I really appreciate it.
