Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

1: I removed it since I need to make a unique Travelform considering I used the old ones to make the new Catform (feline) ones. I've added Stag as an option though.
2: Yeah the FF effect was removed, I didn't think it was clear enough.
The original is still good. Also it would make it howl every time it was applied, even if you could be resto/balance in humanoid form, didn't think it was that appropriate.
3: Please tell me how I could fix it, I'm all ears.
4: Creature and CREATURE is required for textures and models to be placed correctly. It's just how it works.
5: I haven't altered any models, I just used the DruidCat.m2 (Lynx model) for Taurens this time around aswell.

    Where have you been?
Here's the rep you so dearly deserve btw, thanks for the input

    around..

1 - your new one is unique, it fits well with the rest of the pack (stripes on the bear form plx)

2 - mmm, i recommend finding a new spell animation for it anyway

3 - You have the patch set up with catform and the .blp in seperate folders, and i think you editing the m2 in some way, it doesnt match the NE one, and because of that it shows the weapon. Rextract and place them in the same folder.

4 - Not when i work with it

5 - Than it wouldnt show the weapon

EDIT : Thats dumb, i just tried reextracting the lynx model and it still shows the mace. Hmmmmm DBC edit?

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

1: I can try, although they look good enough as it is. Don't want to ruin the simple look they have now by forcing more ornaments on it.
2: Will do. Although there's not many fitting spells for it (I've checked the whole spell-animation list through twice)
4: About a year ago my patchfiles for customizing some pieces of armour got ruined since they changed it from low-case to capital letters. But really, I don't care about the pathways, the filesize remains the same anyway, it only affects me and those who want to edit the pack.

Yeah, the file size of DruidCatTauren.m2 that was in your pack was slightly larger then the original NE one. I was having the same weapon problem, until I swapped the file for Blizzard's DruidCat.m2

Here's the .rar with the fixed .m2, if you are interested. (complete .rar with all other patches intact.) Personally tested.

This stuff is wonderfull!!! It actually convinced me to register here and I love using them.

One thing bothers me though... No horns on meh kitty? x(

Any chance of a version of the forms with some nice, streamlined horns? :>
No pressure, just if you feel like doing it =)

I have the new updated ModelEditFix.exe, however I must not share it to non-contributors or leechers, so there's no point in me making that .dbc edit since quite frankly, I wouldn't be allowed to share it to the public.

    Sorry.

 I didn't think the new ModelEditFix.exe worked anyway?

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

Hey, I've been having trouble with getting the package to work. I follow the instructions of renaming the patches and then placing them in the data folder, but it doesn't work. =/ The only one that works is the green-swirling morph animation. Any help would be much appreciated. (I play a nelf if that means anything at all)

Also, any plans for a tree form skin? That'd be pretty sweet =)

Great job on the models, I love them!

You're having the old issue I've encountered before; rename the .mpq to .MPQ

This may only be an issue for US users though, I'm not having any trouble.
I knew I should rename the suffix to capital letters, but in all the releases I forgot. Just rename and it should work I think (since the SPELLSOUNDpatch-9.MPQ worked and it has capital letters, whilst the other patches doesn't, seems to confirm this theory I had)

    UPDATE:
Updated with the new Catform for Taurens which doesn't display any weapons when in attack mode. All credit goes to Flamewalker.
Also adjusted the slight colour deformation on the Tauren Catform's tail which didn't match the body. Now it's not noticeable.
Now I've added an although not perhaps fitting but still quite nice Faerie Fire animation.

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

nostar just wondering when you run wow do you use the launcher or just the exe? Im in US and my are mpq not MPQ and they work fine. I know some people who were not using the launcher and it does cause some issues with some stuff. Not to mention makes downloading patches take alot longer.

PS> A new flight form would be awsome I have a tauren Mech dragon skin now that I haven't used as I am Alley and seen bear to dragon whelp but no good Alley dragon flight skins yet . I love the skins by the way keep up the good work.....

The .m2 has been changed, but in inspecting the new tail, I noticed it's still exactly the same .blp as the last release. File mix-up maybe? The tail color is identical. Or maybe i'm seeing things. :tard:
    Just FYI.
