Hello Andrige. I'm new to WoW, and I can't afford retail so I play on a private server, I have a enGB version, issues seem to be when I log in, and try to use the forms, if I shapeshift, I can't see my surroundings/move/see myself. Yet it doesn't crash the game, it just causes me to stop moving. My patch is 3.1.3. Are there any issues with private servers stopping the different skins, or is my computer just being stupid? XD

I'm not active in this thread, the things you see that you can download are made by fans only at this point. So naturally, there's basically no support for private servers that runs on older patches.
And no I can't help you guys out unfortunately. Just go to the modelediting sub-forum to read up how you can do it yourselves and if you are succesful I'll be happy to rehost it here for people to use.

The spells didn't work for me, just throwing that out there. Do you happen to know why is it that the kitties moonwalk strafe?
Figured it out myself lol

DoA-Repack.7z contains a working strafe enabled kitty.
MoarDoARepack.7z contains a weird moon walker strafing kitty.

One patch is a bit bigger than the other, dunno if that means anything!

Erm. Moonwalker kitty? <.< I just extracted from my original MoarDoARepack.7z the BEAR&CAT&NESWIFTpatch-6.MPQ, the size of which is 6,224 KBs, inserted it, and I didn't see any moonwalking. Can anyone confirm this and if so, show me a FRAPs or something? I really don't remember doing anything to the kitty between those packs, I just added more of Andrige's model edits.

As far as the sounds, I never used them, I don't really know where they go now in the current schema, and I don't know if Druid sounds still match up to the ones Andrige replaced. If anyone has more detail about where the sounds might go in the current scheme of Blizz's MPQ file structure, I might put it together.

I think I may have figured out how to get them to work for me XD I just have to re-pack them myself somehow with the files I have in MY common folder and replace them with My Warcraft Studio. I made my own bear a little while ago, and oooh my god it was a nightmare. Lol. He looked scary, that's for sure, but I accidentally made his paws orange and some of his markings waaaay too large. T'was silly.

Uhm excuse me I have a little problem I play NE druid and I extracted the Ne patches only and removed the big letters stuff (TAURENEAGLEpatch-e.MPQ > patch-e.MPQ) I log in and when i switch to a form the animation goes but my char disappear and I see that he moves on the minimap..

Are you a complete idiot? Well you know how to use the patch, so I would say no... however the files are COMPLETELY different now.

Since the patch that changed the druid forms to a more "stylish" look and skin colors that match the player's hair color, all of the model names & texture names have changed. This patch will NOT work unless it's updated.

-I personally plan to create my own when I get my new PC (working with my old one, can't even play wow it's so old). Luckily income tax is on the way -- Your best bet is to look through some of the threads in the Model editing section and learn how to do your own edits. If you deem them worthy of sharing, POST THEM!

To the separationist, I think you can do everything you need to with the My Warcraft Studio program from the files in the repack. Buuut I guess I don't really expect you to go through the effort, and since I can understand some people may be satisfied with their new bear/cat forms (y'damn heathens, enjoy your chains if you want to!), NEFLIGHTFORMONLYpatch-6.MPQ . I didn't bother testing it, but in theory it should work. If you blow up, I blame the overwhelming awesomeness that is epic flight form refusing to be contained. If it doesn't work, well, then there's the guides. And I'd recommend anyone interested in doing repack work or extraction work look through the guides. It took my better half and I about a night to read up enough to figure out how to do what we needed to do, and once you know, you're never unable to help yourself. It's taken me longer to write this post than it did to make that flight form only MPQ. *Shrugs.* Go learn to do something you never thought you'd do before. It's good for your brain.

Damnit, already gave you before! Anyway, you're absolutely right.
It takes some time to learn, but if you desperately want it the time you invest into learning it is abysmal compared to the time it will take for me to do it for you. (right about now I think it's close to "never", to put it bluntly)

Don't really know how they did it but I know that I can be nice enough to avoid the link-masking at least. Fyi this re-release was made by a fan and I'm not personally responsible for the pack, but I think it will work for 3.2+.
