Certain patches work for 4.0.3

Yes, try using SoundCache-patch-13287 as well with the other patch you want to use.

Yes, try using SoundCache-patch-13287 as well with the other patch you want to use.

Glitchy's Model editing suite still works into merging several MPQ'S. For example I have had two different MPQ's. One with a haircolour and one with a eyecolour. Both MPQ'S merged and working currently in 4.0.3a. So no need to change additional SoundCache patches.

It seems that Blizz has gotten clever with things...

Every launch of the game it refreshes the SoundCache-3.MPQ file, resets it to default or deletes it and brings down a 1kb file, and any changes that are made don't stay.

Any work-around for this?

So it seems that the trick is working. I can use it without problems.
But with the trick we only use an old nude patch and so some new featueres from cata doesn't work for example with an old nude patch worgen aren't going to be nudified.
If somebody now any download without registration to get some new patches (nude patch for cata [worgen]) that would be rally nice ^.^

so ive found that if I use the wow.exe instead of the Launcher.exe to start the game that the nude patch works, i figured if the launcher was patching over soundcache-3 then why not just skip the launcher...and go straight to wow and like i said mine works

I start WoW with the launcher and it just don't overpatches.
Idon'T know why it doesn't that but it works.
Also i found out that some patches doesn't work.
For example the one from Red October doesn't work.
But Zilems Ptchzer works without any problems.
The only problem that Zilems patchzer doesn't patch worgen -.-*

I got to the Data folder in my Wow but i cant find the Cache. I all i see is the readme from my old nude patch.
