    MODEL EDIT please HELP!

    Hey guys, So i downloaded the file i need, which was the Black War bear ----> Swift Spectral Tiger.

    But after downloading the file which was called patch-s.mpq, i dont know what i need to do after such as where to put this file

    WHOEVER CAN HELP ME PLEASE PM ME OR POST IN THIS THREAD THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR TIME!

    Put it in your world of warcraft folder\\data.

    If this is your first model edit you should rename it to Patch-3.MPQ (MPQ has to be big letters) or just look at the last Patch-"highest Number".MPQ just take the next number in the line

    Mine looks like this:
    common.MPQ
    common2.MPQ
    expansion.MPQ
    lichking.MPQ
    patch.MPQ
    patch-2.MPQ
    patch-3.MPQ
    now if i wanted another model edit i would have too add patch-4.MPQ and if i wanted one more i should be called patch-5.MPQ

    I wouldn't suggest using numbers, it's limited to 6 (4-9). patch-3 is used by Blizzard. Instead, use letters. Anything unused between a-z works fine.

    u should put the file in the data folder, and the file name is also case sencetive so it must be named patch-S.MPQ

    anything between A-Z can replace S aswell =)
