I believe those are the correct ID's.

Also, I've trolled for quite a while, but I'm only able to item swap with the cache =\

re doing it the icy veins spell id u gave was right all along. the one i saw on wowhead was wrong.

I use Glitchy's MES to do spell swaps. Use the Drop down menu all the way to the right. (In image its the picture with the Tools Crossing each other)



Select "Spell Swapper"

Once that menu in the picture comes up Click the "Load DBC"

Then save it as w.e. you'd like. As you see i named it patch-b.MPQ

Then enter the spell id for the spell your using. Then to the right the spell id you want to see instead. in this case

Icy Veins:12472 to Fel Infusion:40396 .. once your done Click Swap.

If you want to do more spell swaps do that before you click Save. As you can do a few spell swaps in the same .MPQ.

it seems like the Spell ID for Icy Veins is wrong from wowhead and thottbot. Though i tested out a Water Shield with Fel Infusion switch and worked like a charm.

Hmm, could it be that this char has never interacted with that item? So the swap can't be done because it's not available?

do this. when in the game

type in /combatlog

then cast Icy Veins then /combatlog again

if you go into your Logs folder in the wow directory the spell there should have the Correct Spell ID if you open the WoWCombatLogs.txt file.

If icy Veins isnt something casted then im sorry i just dont know much about mages.

hmm looking at the wws logs for the mages in my guild. then i track that spell id down, you do have the right spell id for it. Maybe its not swappable? i got no clue where else to go with this really
