Yeah, some limitations were good, but this makes it, you can move something, watch it for 5 seconds, then watch it go back and if you move, you get disconnected. It's pretty much only for screenshots now. (If I read it right)
I used to be a Super Mod. Now I'm just Super, thanks for asking.

If you read what I post, you would know this is a test, we want people to try to crack it, we want to see how it reacts and works.

We do not release programs for people to abuse and exploit.

    /sigh

This isn't designed for you all to go into trees and kill people without them killing you. This is designed to show you what is capable and for us to gauge my limitations.

I don't see how you people don't understand, this is not to exploit, it is to educate and to share.

We (Maybe I speak for myself, actually) understand that greatly, but the blocks you are implementing make it so no one can use it for anything. You aren't just stopping the exploiters from abusing it, you are stopping the creators from wielding it's power, and making something amazing. I really don't how you see this as education or sharing. If you release a striped down, compiled version, I don't believe anyone is going to learn from that. And sharing doesn't mean anything when you give, quite honestly, nothing.

I know it's for the better, but I just don't get why you would release the program at all if it's been made that weak.

Re: Announcement: Ingame Model Mover to be released.

You want people to run a program that would have a high probability of getting them banned, but would not give them an advantage in pvp, gathering, farming, killing bosses, or exploring?

Risk vs. Reward. Nobody's gonna use your shit. Sorry.

In case you're new to how blizzard works, here's the lowdown on their bans.

Blizzard has people that pay attention to this kind of site. They look and determine how "dangerous" the exploit is, how easy it is to perform, and how easy it is to catch the people who use it.

Take for example, the mountainclimber program. Very "dangerous" in that it could easily give people a great advantage in pvp and pve, and very very easy to use. Luckily for blizzard, it was also very easy to catch people who messed with the memory values of climbable walls.

After they determine that such an exploit is a negligible threat, they leave them alone for a while. This does several things. First, it gets a couple more months of subscriptions out of them. Second, it gives plenty of time for data gathering to give sufficient evidence that they were cheating, even though they will never provide said evidence when asked. Third, it gives the cheaters a chance to tell their friends that it's safe Let the people think it's safe, and get them to tell their cheater friends to use it too.

After they have done all these things (and tried to fixed the exploit), they go for the banning. Either a 3-day ban for minor things and first offenses, or a permaban for bad naughty things. Any arguing/pleading/bargaining/threatening from this point will be laughed at.

And this is what will happen to the people who use your program. It will be seen as a dangerous threat that needs to be nipped in the bud. They will ban anyone who uses it even for a moment, without question.

This is what I mean by risk vs. reward. Nobody who knows anything about serious exploiting in WoW will use a program with 0 reward and high risk.
